Is the QR code birthday card maker free?
Yes. Make as many cards as you like, download them as images or print them. No account needed.
What can the QR code open?
Any web link. A GreetSpark birthday letter is the best fit, because it opens as an envelope with your voice note, a photo and a song. A video, a playlist or a photo album work too.
Will the QR code stop working?
A code that opens your GreetSpark letter never expires. A code for any other link works for 90 days, then stops and is deleted.
Why does a code for another website show a page first?
So nobody can use our free tool to send people somewhere they did not expect. Outside links are checked before a code is made, and scanning one shows where it goes with a Continue button. Anyone can report a link from that page, and reported links are switched off.
How big should I print it?
The card prints on half a letter-size page, and the code comes out about 5 cm wide, which any phone camera reads easily. Print at 100%, not "fit to page".
Can I make QR codes for a whole party or class?
Yes. Send letters from a spreadsheet and choose "I hand them over", and you get a QR code for every person plus a printable sheet of labels.
